I had an operation here today and was in Mottingham ward. The nurse I had, Elaine, was amazing. She talked me through everything and calmed me down when I was overly worrying about things. The anesthetist team, (sorry I can't remember any names from here) an Indian lady, an older gentleman and a young girl were fantastic. I started to have a mini meltdown about the needles and the operation, and although they do this every day, they had so much patience with me which I can not thank them enough for. Then the after care lady(with a blonde bob) was great too. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Not to mention all the other people I met during the day, I can not fault them. Thank you all so much for making my time here as seamless as possible. Only one piece of constructive criticism, waiting 4 1/2 hours (going down at 11:30am after arriving at 7am) after not eating from 12am was not ideal.
I find that Queen Mary's Hospital is not as good as it use to be. No a & e anymore and advert services that are related to that. I find that some of the other services are not as good as it used to be at this hospital too. Also I would like to add as an edit that I have been up to Queen Mary's Hospital today and some of the staff are very good but there is a lot of changes going on at the hospital at the moment things like A block is going at the hospital and A block is still open to the general public even though the departments are closed to the public and services moved over to be block and it is not very well designed and advertised and did his causing quite a lot of confusion with a lot of people and just causing a lot of problems for people which is not good at all.

Having spent most of my life trying various styles of martial arts, I went along and took part in a lesson at Katsudo. Where i was pleasantly surprised to find that not only were the instructors very easy going, but they were very good at what they did. So many club instructors think its ok to hurt newbies or show off how fast and tough they are. Well not here. That doesnt mean they are soft or discipline is lax. They just care about how they teach people!!!!!! I eventually spent about five years going to Katsudo Kempo and loved evry moment. Eventually old age and lack of time takes its toll, and i stopped going. But im still friends with most of them. I learnt a lot there, most of it quite dangerous and i hope that i never have to use it, but you never know what life will throw at you, sooooo. As for the other review. There is more than just muscle power . I will leave it at that.. Excellent club .Friendly people. would go back if i was twenty again ????
