Clean rooms but no phones in rooms to speak to reception and no flexibility for late check outs. The access cards consistently stopped working which meant a trip down to the desk and a wait to get them activated. And this was while being kept far away from mobile phones. The restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner which ends promptly at 10pm. In between, drinks can be purchased when you are able to track down a member of staff. We had a night without hot water and another night without heating. Breakfast is mediocre as I was once served 3 raw eggs when requesting 2 poached ones. However, when it works the food selection is good. Staff can be very helpful but we stayed for 2 weeks and were told not to eat our lunch in the only seated area of the hotel one day. The rooms are not suitable for eating food in either if you're a family of two adults and young kids.
Premier inn always great in my experience. Good sound proof room and comfy bed, genuinely giving you a great nights sleep. Decent food in the restaurant. Only down point is the road leading to the hotel is a pain with traffic depending on which direction you're coming from. Car park has limited spaces, but I've yet to see it full.

A superb pub, restaurant and bistro all in one. Parking out the back with a nice beer garden and lots of space. The food is exquisite if a little on the dear side. My wife, baby and me had a lovely brunch here on a quiet Saturday morning. The staff are really friendly and helpful, our window booth was spacious and perfect for fitting the pram down the side to keep out of the way. The kitsch decor in the cafe area is a wonderful place to have afternoon tea, although make sure you have space for all the yummy scones and sweet treats.
We had our wedding here and Jayne was an amazing events organiser. All of the staff are fantastic. The food was great, the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The room and decor of the event was beautiful and we would recommend the bridal suite which is really special. The experience of the staff remove any stress you may have about the wedding and you feel very looked after. We hope to return for a special anniversary in the future and eat more of the delicious food! 😊

On arrival the Crown Inn looks nice and is in a lovely area that belies its proximity to central London. Staff were friendly and the bar and restaurant were pleasant - the food was great! My room was a good size and well-appointed if a little in need of an update. The bathroom was clean but the extractor fan was possibly the loudest I've experienced and I was worried that it may be disturbing other guests. The bed was comfortable and I would have slept very well were it not for a loud fan or generator or something running outside all night. Overall I had a pleasant stay but I would warn potential guests that this hotel is totally inflexible with regards to deferring a stay - this was a business trip and I was unable to stay on my original booked date due to the location I was visiting being closed because of snow. I wanted to defer my stay rather than cancelling altogether and they were immovable on the subject, so I have essentially paid twice for one night.
Good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings . One of few pubs that sell Asahi beer. Update: December 2017. They no longer sell Asahi's lager which is real shame. The Bear Island IPA is a nice beer instead. The accommodation is really nice with great views over the common.

Very loud with poor acoustics caused by lack of soft furnishings If you are hearing impaired or have tinnitus, don't even think about going in here on a Saturday evening. It may be a lovely oasis of peace and calm the rest of the week - but I doubt it...
It's a very busy pug given that is one of the only ones around. Full of people coming from/going to visit the Chislehurst caves. They do good good and the pub has nice and spacious areas for lunch. Good burger and good nachos.

Ideally located for zone 5 for travel card. Well priced. New hotel. Very well maintained. Spotless. Comfy bed. You can't ask for more so close to the West End Theatre..Stratford & Ox4d Street.
The room was nice. I got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was good as well. Its right next to a dessert place called Kaspa's, which is fantastic. All in all a great place to stay.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
